How to delete your Handpan App account and associated data
At Handpan App, we value your privacy. You can request the deletion of your account and all associated data at any time.
Steps to Delete Your Account

Open the Handpan App on your mobile device.

Navigate to the 'Settings' or 'Profile' section.

Look for the 'Delete Account' button at the bottom of the page.

Confirm your request by following the on-screen prompts.

Alternative Request Method
If you no longer have access to the app, you can send an email to hello@handpan.app with the subject 'Account Deletion Request'. Please include the email address associated with your account.
Data Management & Deletion
What data will be deleted?
- ✓User Profile (name, email, profile picture)
- ✓Learning progress and mastery scores
- ✓Daily streaks and practice history
- ✓Any personalized settings and preferences
What data may be kept?
- !Financial transaction records (for tax and legal compliance)
- !Anonymous analytics data (to help us improve our service)
Retention Period
Once a deletion request is confirmed, your account and all non-legally required data will be permanently deleted from our servers within 24 hours.
